Mi chiamo Lima. Sono un\u2019artista con base in Svizzera e lavoro con acrilici e superfici materiche e scultoree che esplorano identit\u00e0, appartenenza e quiete interiore.<\/p>

Nata in Kerala e cresciuta in Svizzera, il mio lavoro nasce dall\u2019esperienza di vivere tra due culture: una dualit\u00e0 che mi ha portata a sentirmi, per lungo tempo, allo stesso tempo connessa e fuori posto. Questa tensione silenziosa continua a influenzare profondamente il mio modo di creare.<\/p>

La pittura \u00e8 diventata il mio spazio di ritorno.<\/p>

Attraverso gesti ripetitivi, texture stratificate e segni intuitivi, realizzo opere lente, tattili e meditative. Ogni movimento diventa ritmo, un modo per calmare la mente e ritrovare il momento presente.<\/p>

Le forme organiche che emergono, come petali, curve morbide e strutture in evoluzione, non sono pianificate, ma si sviluppano in modo spontaneo. Raccontano di crescita, resilienza e della forza che risiede nella morbidezza.<\/p>

Lavorando con toni terrosi e superfici materiche, creo opere che invitano a una sensazione di calma e presenza. Il mio intento non \u00e8 solo creare qualcosa di visivo, ma qualcosa che possa essere vissuto. Uno spazio silenzioso in cui fermarsi, respirare e riconnettersi.<\/p>

ARTIST STATEMENT My name is Lima. I am a Switzerland-based artist working with acrylics, textured, sculptural surfaces that explore identity, belonging, and inner stillness. Born in Kerala and raised in Switzerland, my work is shaped by the experience of growing up between cultures, often feeling both connected and displaced at the same time. This quiet duality continues to influence the way I create. Painting became my way of returning to myself. Through repetitive gestures, layered textures, and intuitive mark-making, I create works that are slow, tactile, and meditative. Each movement becomes a rhythm, a way to calm the mind and reconnect with the present moment. The organic forms that emerge like petals, soft curves, and evolving structures, are not planned, but unfold naturally. They speak of growth, resilience, and the strength that exists within softness. Working with earthy tones and textured surfaces, I create pieces that invite a sense of calm and presence. My intention is not only to create something visual, but something that can be felt, a quiet space where the viewer can pause, breathe, and reconnect. Each work carries a quiet rhythm.
